Empowering people to live and age well in their community
The Covenant Wellness Community (CWC) is Alberta’s first community-based wellness hub. It will empower people and families of all demographics — especially vulnerable populations — to live well by creating a one-stop wellness destination that provides integrated health and social support.
Community Health Centre: Opening in 2025
The Community Health Centre (CHC) is the first phase of development, currently under construction. When it opens this fall, the building will house some of the outpatient clinics currently located at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital. It will also include doctors’ offices, diagnostic imaging and other health and wellness services.
Future phases
Future phases will include more community-based health services, an Integrated Seniors’ Continuing Care Centre with a range of care options, a residential building and additional retail and commercial development that complements the vision of the CWC.
Location
Strategically situated in southeast Edmonton, the CWC is just minutes from the Grey Nuns Community Hospital and Mill Woods Town Centre.
